Planning - measurements - investigations

In cooperation with partner companies, we carry out all measurements relating to the biofilter. We also offer analysis of the filter material and the sludge from the pressure chamber.

We are also happy to offer advice and assistance with planning. Be it for new systems or the conversion or expansion of old systems.

Maintenance

Like all things, the biofilter is subject to the ravages of time.

Regular maintenance and inspections must also be carried out here. This includes checking the filter material for moisture, temperature or decomposition and checking that the air scrubber is working properly.

Changing the filter

Over time, the filter material decomposes. As a result, it loses its effectiveness. Sooner or later, depending on the care and maintenance of the biofilter.

This can be recognized by a noticeable odour and a very high load on the fan, i.e. the back pressure is too high. In this case, the filter needs to be changed.

We offer the following work:

Examination of the old material for any harmful substances
Proper removal of the old material
Removal and proper disposal
Cleaning of the ventilation floor
Cleaning of the pressure chamber if required
Installation of a protective net and new edge protection foil
Proper installation of the new material

Refurbishment

Over time, older systems also require refurbishment. The exhaust air, which sometimes contains very aggressive substances, severely corrodes the biofilter.

We offer a complete refurbishment of old biofilter systems:

Removal and disposal of the old material
Removal and disposal of the old aeration floor
Complete cleaning of the concrete basin
Lining with acid-resistant foil
Construction of a new aeration floor
Filling the biofilter with new material

Spare parts

Of course, we also supply spare parts for the hardwood or plastic grid base. If you need any part for the biofilter, please contact us.

If something is defective, we will supply a suitable replacement. Hardwood boards for entrance gates, nozzles, pipes etc. for irrigation, foil for lining the side walls or gates.
